THE DOGGERY
Dog Accommodation
We cater to both small and large dogs in two separate boarding wings. This ensures that no dog boarding with us feels intimidated by the size or temperament of our other guests. Each kennel contains a water bowl and a non-allergenic trampoline bed for larger dogs and cosy fit bed for smaller dogs
All of our exercise yards are secure and supervised by our experienced staff.
At night the quarters are fully enclosed and during the day there is immediate access to large areas where your pet can relax and enjoy the view of trees and garden. Throughout the day our canine friends are taken into large grassed play areas where they can chase a ball, play with their companion or just relax on the grass.
We are happy to accommodate most breeds and sizes but we don’t cater for dangerous dog breeds. We will accept entire (un-desexed) males but there is an additional charge for entire males.
Each morning our guests are placed into the recreation areas on a rotating basis, so their suites can be cleaned. During this time each dog is visually checked for any changes. Early morning breakfasts are served along with any medications.
We like to keep all guests quiet following their breakfast to avoid any problems brought on by excess activity following a meal. We can also monitor any dogs that are slow eaters or extremely fussy.
Guests are then exercised on a rotating basis and enjoy a playtime with a staff member playing ball or just a quiet time in the grassed play area. Afternoon meals are served and any medications are administered.
As the day draws to a close all guests receive a bedtime treat as they are secured into their sleeping quarters for the night.
No dogs will be housed together unless they are family members, so your pet will always be safe.
In summer, dogs can run amongst the sprinkler systems to cool down, while in Winter they can snuggle into our warm blankets and sheepskins.
Dog Check-In
To ensure a smooth and speedy check-in the following requirements are compulsory and some may be satisfied prior to check-in dates.
A current C3 or C5 vaccination certificate from their Veterinarian as proof of Vaccination must be produced.
ALL medication must be properly identified and labelled for the intended pet.
Premium food is provided, however: Own food is allowed but must be labelled and packed individually into daily portions or if dry food a suitable cup or scoop and specific instructions must be provided. We have a policy of no bones of any kind.
Dog belongings: A favourite item is allowed however be sure it is ok if it does not get returned and definitely nothing with bean bag material or stuffing.
THE CATTERY
Cat Accommodation
We are a boutique facility and this enables us to offer our feline guests personalised attention resulting in a relaxed visit for your cats. We pride ourselves on offering quality care, food and accommodation.
Our cat accommodation is 3 tiered with ramps to each level. On the bottom floor is our cat litter trays then a play area with a hammock for lazing on then our igloo beds are on the top floor so our cat guests can get an uninterrupted sleep.
The accommodation is large enough for 2 cats from the same family can easily stay in the same room.
The whole room is cat safe and puss will have time out and about to play with the toys or in the cat grass or just lounge around.
Our whole facility is fully insulated and heated in winter and has ceiling fans for summer.
We endeavour to fit around your cat’s normal routine for meals where we can to make your cat feel at home.

Cat check in.

F3 Vaccination for cats.
All cats must have had recent flea and worm treatment not more than 1 month prior to check-in as per the Victorian Code of Practice for Boarding Kennels and Catteries. Any cats coming into the cattery that are found to have fleas or worms will receive treatment at the cost of the owner.

All our guests are provided with private litter trays and fresh water. We provide premium dry food and either Dine, Whiskas or Fancy Feast wet food.
Requirements & conditions
Caring for your pets
- A certificate on Vaccination C3 (C5 also covers kennel cough and canine influenza and is recommended) and F3 for cats must be produced when boarding with us. Dogs will not be accepted without proof of vaccination.
- Customers are welcome to bring their own pets bedding, toys, treats, etc. But we will not be responsible if it gets destroyed or ruined while staying with us.
- We try to maintain a similar feeding pattern as you do at home. We have a wide variety of foods including natural dog loaf, fresh meat, premium dry food, canned food and much more. Customers may also bring their own food. All food must be labelled and packed individually into daily portions or if dry food a suitable cup or scoop and specific instructions must be provided. We have a policy of no bones of any kind.
- Administration of tablets, powders, creams etc. may incur a charge of $3 per day. (This is up to management’s discretion). .
- We require all pets to up to be date with their flea and worming treatment as per Victorian Code of Practice for Boarding Kennels and Catteries. If fleas are found on the pets management will treat your pet and you will be charged the cost of a flea and worm product.
- 24 hour care is available as owner and operator lives on site. Also, Vet on call.
- While staying at Djeembana pet boarding we would love your dog to find a friend to socialize with. We only attempt to mix dogs of a similar size and temperament.
- ALL medication must be properly identified and labelled for the intended pet.
- Payment will be 20% deposit on booking being acccepted by Djeembana pet boarding and the residual will be paid when dropping of pets for their holiday
- If you or your emergency contact is not available Djeembana Pet Boarding has permission to have your pet attended to by our veterinary practice at the owner’s expense. If your pet is injured or develops an unpreventable illness you agree Djeembana Pet Boarding are not responsible.
- If dogs become highly vocal with barking a citronella collar may be used. All efforts will be made by staff to help your dog settle in before this action.
- Pets pictures may be used in advertising material but not while they are in the boarding in the facility and no names will be used.

^ Ist day starts after 11 am for drop off and last day is billed with pick up being before 11am. An extra charge will be made at the manager’s discretion for late pick-ups or drop-off.

With many years of experience with multiple breeds of animal both on a professional scale and as pet owners of multiple different breed from Great Danes to Italian Greyhounds and multiple wonderful moggies, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds we will care for your fury family members with professionalism and a genuine love of animals.
